Position: Unarmed Security Patrol Officer

Location: Portland Metro area, Koa Protection Agency is located in Tigard, OR.

Schedule: Variable (Guaranteed at least 30 hours per work week)

Hours: 8:00 PM - 06:00 AM (10 Hour Shift)

Job Description:

As a Koa Patrol Officer, your duties will be to patrol assigned client sites via Patrol Vehicle, responding to calls for service and writing incident reports. This position may also require brief foot patrols as well (Depending on client site procedures).

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle patrols, foot patrols, and provide response services to client properties to ensure safety.
• Document observations and activities during assigned shift
• Perform daily locking and unlocking functions for certain properties
• Provide an initial response to security incidents
• Contacting our 24/7 Koa Dispatch for immediate support, back up, or follow up on a call
• Utilize our proprietary tracking and monitoring software to respond to safety events or send updates to our Dispatch and Monitoring center

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain or currently possess a valid Guard Card (DPSST) - We will train you!
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a DMV/Driving Record check + Driver's License
• Must have at least High school diploma/GED
• Preferred First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a reliable means of transportation and communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 DOE and successful completion of FTE

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
